The success of any project or initiative is usually underpinned
by a clear vision and strategic framework, together with a successful
working partnership.
CGR has considerable skills and experience in leading policy and strategy
development. We can lead and coordinate the development of a range
of strategies. We adopt a collaborative and consultative approach,
working closely with the client and partners to prepare draft and
preferred strategies and advise on the structures for their implementation.
Virtually everything we do today involves some form of partnership
arrangement. Charles Green has extensive experience of partnership
working, promotion and negotiation across the public, private and
voluntary sectors including the management of other consultants and
partner resources. CGR can operate at both a strategic and local level.
We can lead partnership development and coordination. We can act as
an independent body to advise new or established partnerships on projects
and programmes. We can provide evaluation and appraisal services which
comply with government practice.
At Salford, Charles pioneered the formation of many partnerships including the Salford Partnership, which at that time was one of the first strategic partnerships in the country. He worked with the partnership to develop a series of strategies including the Community Plan, Health Plans and the Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy.
With CGR, Charles has acted as Interim Director of Liverpool’s Local Strategic Partnership (LSP), where he worked with all the partners to develop, review and streamline the partnership, ensuring it was fit for purpose, and led the initial submission of a new Local Area Agreement (LAA) for Liverpool. He also led the work at Cumbria to put in place new regeneration delivery partnership arrangements across the County.
