CGR has considerable experience of the management and implementation
of major complex programmes, projects and funding. We can act as project
managers, prepare funding submissions and handle the complex cocktail
of funding which normally goes into a project.
During his period at Salford City Council, Charles Green generated
funding investments exceeding £1bn. He led the development and
implementation of 4 substantial Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) programmes
together with a New Deal for Communities bid and programme. He also
led the development of major European programmes such as the £128m
Manchester Salford Trafford IDO and the Manchester/Salford Housing Market
Renewal Pathfinder which implemented a £125m HMRF programme in
its first 3 years.
With CGR, Charles has secured a significant ERDF grant to fund a canal restoration at the heart of a major private development. He has also assisted Liverpool City Council to deliver their Housing Market Renewal Programme and put in place new management arrangements to deliver North Tyneside Council’s £665m Strategic Investment Programme.
