in strategy development and project manage specific initiatives or
developments. We can handle funding submissions and can evaluate and
review existing initiatives.
Charles Green is a recognised expert in economic development with
experience covering economic strategy work, inward investment and
business support programmes, industrial and commercial improvement
areas, grant and employment schemes and liaison with the business
community and public bodies.
Charles was a Board Member of Manchester
Business Link for 10 years and also was formerly chair of the AGMA
Economic Development Officers Group for the 10 Greater Manchester
Authorities, working on initiatives such as a new ED Strategy for
Greater Manchester, Manchester Knowledge Capital and the City Region
Development Plan.
Charles has led the economic development function at a series of Council’s including Salford City Council, North Tyneside Council and Cumbria County Council. He was an advisor to the NWRA RENEW North West Regeneration Exemplar programme.
